Pferd 33920135 TOUGH Mounted Point 10 Piece Set 2001 6mm

The Pferd 33920135 TOUGH 46 Grit Mounted Point Set  6 mm 10 piece set is designed for application such as weld dressing, repair work and reworking on tool repairs, mould making and turbine blades during aircraft maintenance.

These TOUGH mounted points are made with an aluminium oxide mixture and vitrified bond for and abrasive surface ideal for use on difficult to machine materials such as titanium, nickel alloys, cobalt alloys, hardened steel and built up weld deposits.

Pferd Mounted Points are made to have a long service life and low tool wear. They are manufactured and tested to stringent requirements to ensure they are the highest quality and safety standards possible.

For safety all Pferd mounted points are approved for a maximum operating speed of 50 m/s. To achieve the best performance the TOUGH mounted points should be operated at cutting speeds of 30 to 50 m/s.

Thanks to the cool grinding of this mounted point because the grain mix is easy to break down, it is particularly useful for grinding temperature sensitive materials.

This tool has high stock removal rates and due to the self sharpening qualities of the ceramic oxide grains maintains its high standard for a longer period.

The mounted points in this set are designed for use with flexible shaft drives and straight grinders.

Cylindrical shaped mounted points are perfect for grinding bores, radii and contours.

Conical shaped mounted points are designed to create a comfortable working position for surface and chamfer grinding.

Ball shaped mounted points are ideal for contour grinding and backside deburring.

Pointed tree shaped mounted points are excellent for machining small holes and bores.

Cylindrical Shape Mounted Point: 10 x 13 mmm, 16 x 20 mm, 20 x 40 mm, 13 x 25 mm, 20 x 25 mm, 40 x 13 mm.

Conical Shape Mounted Point: 10 x 25 mm, 16 x 45 mm.

Pointed Tree Shape Mounted Point: 13 x 20 mm.
