The Pferd 33920235 TOUGH Mounted Point Set 2002 designed for specialised grinding and finishing applications.
The set includes 15 x grinding points with a 3 mm shank diameter, suitable for a range of tasks requiring precision.
Precisely designed for use on hard to machine materials, the TOUGH type is compatible with titanium and titanium alloys, nickel based alloys such as Inconel and Hastelloy, as well as hardened, heat treated steels with a tensile strength over 1,200 N/mm².
The 33920235 point set is also effective on cobalt based alloys and high temperature resistant materials.
Each point is made from fine grit ceramic oxide grain, known as CO80, which offers specific advantages including cool grinding and high stock removal rates. The ceramic oxide grain has self sharpening qualities, which help maintain consistent stock removal rates during extended use.
The set is versatile, suitable for a variety of applications including deburring, finishing, grouting, levelling, surface work, and edge work like chamfering and rounding. It is compatible with drive types such as flexible shaft drives and straight grinders.
Compliance with the safety guidelines on the maximum permitted rotational speed is essential, this limit is determined by an unsupported shank length of 10 mm.
Contained in a single packaging unit, the set includes one piece each of the following point shapes: ZY 0205, ZY 0306, ZY 0408, ZY 0510, ZY 0613, ZY 0816, ZY 1303, ZY 2006, KU 03, KU 06, KU 08, SP 0306, SP 0408, SP 0613, and SP 0816.
