Items Not Required or Incorrectly Ordered
Within 28 Days of Receipt of Goods
Scott Direct provides as much accurate information as possible within our product pages to help you make an informed decision before your purchase.
However, should you require to return any product you can within 28 days of the day of receipt of your goods (for example, if the item is an unwanted gift or is not as described).
You should arrange the return of the goods yourself and track them using a reputable carrier/courier service.
Providing that the returned goods are in a new, resalable condition (complete with all the original contents, instruction manuals and manufacturer's packaging) and are unused, we will refund the item in full excluding delivery charges that we have incurred when shipping or collecting the goods (if you are unable to arrange return).
You must inform us of your intention to return any goods within the first seven days from receipt of the goods by email to [email protected]. Quote your order number, sales order or invoice number and the details of the item in question. The goods must then be returned to us within the next 21 days after that, no later than 28 days after receiving your goods.
After 28 Days of Receipt of Goods
Scott Direct may, at our discretion, accept goods back after 28 days but we reserve the right to charge a restocking charge of up to 20% of the net price of the goods, plus VAT, plus any associated credit card fees and postage or uplift fees incurred by us.

Items Faulty, Incorrect or Damaged
In the event Scott Direct have supplied an incorrect item or if the item is damaged/faulty upon delivery, you should notify us within 24 hours of receipt of the goods by calling us on 01324 667500 or by emailing [email protected]. Please make sure to quote your order number and the details of the item in question.
If the parcel shows signs of being tampered with or of damage when signing for your delivery, please sign the carrier's electronic device or paperwork as "Damaged" or reject/refuse the delivery. Please notify us immediately so we may address this with the carrier and resolve the situation for you as quickly as possible.
Scott Direct will arrange collection and replace or refund the item. If in the event no fault or damage is found, we reserve the right to charge for the collection and re-delivery of the item or recover the costs from your refund.

Faulty Items Covered By Manufacturers Warranty
Once the product has been used, any issues identified within the manufacturer's warranty period will be handled through that particular brand's warranty procedure.
This is the quickest and easiest option for you to have the item repaired or replaced at the manufacturer’s discretion.
