The Pferd 31120274 STEEL EDGE Mounted Point Cylindrical 46 Grit 10 x 32 x 6mm is ideal for edge grinding and deburring on steel and cast steal, the cylindrical shape of this mounted point makes it perfect for grinding bores, radii and contours.

Pferd Mounted Points are made to have a long service life and low tool wear. They are manufactured and tested to stringent requirements to ensure they are the highest quality and safety standards possible.

The mounted points are colour coded based on their intended use in order to allow easy recognition at when multiple types are stored together, this point is coloured Pink.

The Steel Edge is made with an aluminium oxide mixture and vitrified bond for and abrasive surface ideal for grinding steel and cast steel.

For safety all Pferd mounted points are approved for a maximum operating speed of 50 m/s. To achieve the best performance the Steel Edge mounted points should be operated at cutting speeds of 25 to 40 m/s.

These cylindrical points are economical to use even on low speed drives thanks to the high edge stability.

This Pferd Cylindrical Mounted Point tool is recommended for use on steel and cast steel and is designed for use with flexible shaft drives and straight grinders.
