Pferd 31118614 INOX EDGE 46 Grit Mounted Point Cylindrical 10 x 20 x 6mm

The Pferd 31118614 INOX EDGE Cylindrical 46 Grit Mounted Point 10 x 20 x 6mm is designed for edge grinding weld dressing, removing burrs and grinding chamfers on stainless steel.

The cylindrical shape of this mounted point makes it perfect for grinding bores, radii and contours.

Pferd Mounted Points are made to have a long service life and low tool wear. They are manufactured and tested to stringent requirements to ensure they are the highest quality and safety standards possible. 

The Inox Edge is made with an aluminium oxide and resinoid bond for an abrasive surface ideal for grinding stainless steel.

For safety all Pferd mounted points are approved for a maximum operating speed of 50 m/s. To achieve the best performance the Inox Edge mounted points should be operated at cutting speeds of 35 to 50 m/s.

These cylindrical points are economical to use even on low speed drives thanks to the high edge stability. It delivers high levels of grinding comfort due to low vibration grinding. 

This Pferd Cylindrical Mounted Point tool is recommended for use on stainless steel and thanks to the cool grinding of this mounted point it is particularly useful for grinding temperature sensitive materials.
