The brushless motor can reach an impressive no load speed of up to 8,500rpm, and guarantees increased power and speed, whilst ensuring a longer run time as well as a longer lifespan.
The Makita DGA463Z is super safe to operate, thanks to its Active Feedback Sensing Technology (AFT) which shuts down the tool if the rotation speed slows down suddenly, thus protecting the user.
Other safety features include soft start, an anti-restart function which prevents motor start up when battery is inserted, and an electronic current limiter for overload protection.
Makita's Automatic Torque Drive Technology automatically adjusts the cutting speed and torque according to load condition in order to provide optimum operation, even on the most demanding applications.
In addition, the DGA463Z has an on/off slide switch with lock-on function, a variable speed control dial, electric break, and a 3-stage battery gauge which will indicate charge level.
The ergonomic soft grip body makes it comfortable to handle, and its removable dust covers are designed to prevent dust and debris from entering the motor.
