The Makita KP001GZ03 is a 40V XGT Cordless Brushless Planer featuring enhanced cutting depths up to 4mm and improved shiplapping capabilities, powered by the 40V Max XGT system. Body Only.

The Makita 40V Max XGT range is designed for high demand industrial use, it complements the LXT System focusing on durability and performance.

It requires 40V XGT Lithium-Ion batteries and is Not compatible with LXT tools and batteries, but is designed to complement them for demanding tasks. The XGT battery is more robust, with enhanced impact and water resistance, and offers unique features not found in LXT batteries, including smart charging communication.

The Makita KP001GZ03 cordless brushless planer achieves up to 85% faster planning speeds compared to similar 18V LXT models, highlighting its efficiency in demanding tasks.

The KP001GZ03 cordless planer features a soft start function, electric brake, brushless motor + is compatible with the Auto-Start Wireless System (AWS) for dust management, enhancing safety and cleanliness (wireless transmitter sold separately).

Wood shaving ejection can be directed to the left or right, has 3 x chamfering grooves and a foot on the base plate that protects the workpiece when the planer is not in use.

Supplied Body Only in a Makita Makpac Case Type 3, Model 821551-8 offers an efficient storage and transport solution with dimensions of 395 x 295 x 215 mm. This robust case is designed to keep tools secure and easily portable.
