Pferd F5015/6 A80 Mounted Aluminium Oxide Flap Wheel

The Pferd F5015/6 A80 Mounted Flap Wheel is ideal for universal applications from coarse to fine grinding.

The flaps are made of coated abrasive and are arranged radially around the axis in a fan-type structure. This flexibility enables them to adapt perfectly to the contours of the workpiece.

The use of flap wheels is prefered as they produce lower vibration and noise levels than other grinding tools, making them much more comfortable to work with.

They offer consistently high stock removal throughout the entire tool life as new, aggressive abrasive material is constantly freed up.

These aluminium oxide A type wheels can also be used very close to edges and in corners thanks to the flat, moulded-core design.

Suitable for use on hardened, heat-treated steels; hard and soft aluminium alloys; non-ferrous metals such as brass, copper and zinc; grey and white cast iron; and plastics and other materials like wood, chipboard or paintwork.

The F5015/6 have a shank diameter of 6mm, an outer diameter of 50mm, and a width of 15mm. They are 80 grit.
