Overview

The Pferd F5030/6 CO-COOL 40 Mounted Flap Wheel is ideal for aggressive grinding with maximum sotck removal rate on hard materials which do not conduct heat well.

The flaps are made of coated abrasive and are arranged radially around the axis in a fan-type structure. This flexibility enables them to adapt perfectly to the contours of the workpiece.

The use of flap wheels is prefered as they produce lower vibration and noise levels than other grinding tools, making them much more comfortable to work with.

They offer consistently high stock removal rate throughout performance due to self-sharpening ceramic oxide grain with active grinding additives that result in cooler grinding and prevent clogging.

These ceramic oxide grain CO-COOL type wheels can also be used very close to edges and in corners thanks to the flat, moulded-core design.

Suitable for use on steel and cast steel; stainless steel; non-ferrous metals such as brass, copper and zinc; hard non-ferrous metals such as bronze and titanium; nickel and cobalt based alloys; and grey and white cast iron.

The F5030/6 have a shank diameter of 6mm, an outer diameter of 50mm, and a width of 30mm. They are 40 grit.
