The Pferd 42217065 Cylindrical Zirkon Abrasive Spiral Band GSB 80G13 x 25mm is designed for general grinding applications, it is particularly effective on steel.

The Spiral Band is held in place on a rubber drum holder that expands during operation to secure the band from slipping.

Pferd have excellent quality standards which ensure their have tools a long life due to their specialised manufacturing process.

These Spiral Bands have a high stock removal rate making them ideal for grinding, efficiency can be further improved when using grinding oil.

These Pferd 42217065 Cylindrical Zikon Abrasive bands are easy to change, all that’s necessary is a slight clockwise twist and they are simple to pull up and off, for best results leave the rubber drum holder clamped into the tool drive.

It is important to not exceed the recommended cutting speed of 20-30 m/s to ensure that abrasive spiral bands stay securely attached.

For your safety the abrasive bands should not protrude beyond the rubber drum holder.

These bands are to be used in conjunction with flexible shaft drives and straight grinders.

This tool is suitable for use on titanium, titanium alloys, aluminium, thermoplastics, cobalt alloys, fibre, stainless steel, steel up to 1200 N/mm², grey/nodular cast iron, annealed cast iron, brass, bronze, cast steel and copper.
