The Pferd 42206103 Cylindrical Aluminium Oxide Abrasive Spiral Band GSB 50G 15 x 30mm is designed for general grinding tasks. 

This 42206103 band excels on materials such as aluminium, thermoplastics, and cobalt alloys. It is also effective on fibre, stainless steel, and steel up to 1200 N/mm². Other compatible materials include grey and nodular cast iron, annealed cast iron, brass, bronze, cast steel, and copper.

The Spiral Band is held in place on a rubber drum holder that expands during operation to secure the band from slipping.

Pferd have excellent quality standards which ensure their have tools a long life due to their specialised manufacturing process.

These Spiral Bands have a high stock removal rate making them ideal for grinding, efficiency can be further improved when using grinding oil.

These Pferd 42206103 Aluminium Oxide Bands are easy to change, all that’s necessary is a slight clockwise twist and they are simple to pull up and off, for best results leave the rubber drum holder clamped into the tool drive.

It is important to not exceed the recommended cutting speed of 20-30 m/s to ensure that abrasive spiral bands stay securely attached.

For your safety the abrasive bands should not protrude beyond the rubber drum holder.

These bands are to be used in conjunction with flexible shaft drives and straight grinders.
