The Makita UH522DZ 18V G-Series Cordless Hedge Trimmer is lightweight and powerful, delivering up to an incredible 2,700 strokes per minute. Its 52cm double sided blade can cut through branches of up to 15mm in diameter. Body Only.

This efficient garden tool features an anti-vibration system with five cushions designed to absorb vibration produced by the blade and motor, reducing hand fatigue and ensuring a smoother run.

In addition, the body has a rubberised soft grip, providing better control over the machine and making for a more comfortable overall experience.

Its highly abrasion resistant blade is stain-free thanks to its non-electrolysed nickel plating, which gives the blade a spotless, glittering surface and quality look.

The blade can be replaced in order to extend the trimmer's lifespan even further. It can be done easily enough as there is no need to dis-assemble the housing to remove or install it.

The trimmer features an electric break for added safety, as well as a battery capacity warning lamp, which will blink red when the battery is close to depletion.

The Makita G-Series battery is identifiable by the white or grey top section and offers a 1.5 a/h hour battery capacity in the 18v version. A 60-minute charge time is achieved with the G-Series DC18WA battery charger.

The Makita G-Series battery is only compatible with the G-Series range of cordless power tools, it is NOT compatible with the Makita LXT cordless range.
