Engineered for demanding workloads, the HR004G features a powerful brushless motor and delivers 2.9 Joules of impact energy, making it ideal for heavy-duty drilling and demolition tasks.

The three-mode operation allows users to switch between Rotation Only, Hammering with Rotation and Hammering Only modes, providing maximum versatility across a wide range of applications. Constant speed control automatically applies additional power when required to maintain performance under load, ensuring consistent drilling efficiency.

Makita's Anti-Vibration Technology (AVT) helps minimise vibration exposure through a counterweight mechanism, anti-vibration grip and vibration-absorbing handle, reducing operator fatigue during prolonged use.

A one-touch sliding SDS+ chuck enables fast and easy bit changes, while the supplied quick-change drill chuck further increases versatility when working with standard drill bits.

Twin LED job lights with pre-glow and after-glow functions illuminate the work area for improved visibility in low-light conditions, whilst the variable speed trigger provides precise speed control, allowing users to match drilling performance to the material and application.

The Makita HR004GD201 kit includes two 40V Max XGT 2.5Ah batteries, a DC40RA fast charger and a Type 4 Makpac carry case, providing everything needed to get to work straight away.

**For cleaner working environments, the HR004GD201 is compatible with the optional DX14 Dust Extraction System (not included).

The Makita DC40RA Rapid Charger for XGT 40v batteries which achieves a fast charging rate thanks to the cooling fans that keep the battery and charger circuit at the optimal temperature throughout the charging process.

The voltage, current and temperature are optimised for charging allowing a battery to fully charge in 28-45 minutes, depending on the battery’s capacity.

This XGT kit comes equipped with 2 x Makita BL4025 40v Max 2.5Ah Li-ion Batteries.

These powerful 40v batteries are designed for use with XGT tools and come with a charge level indicator which makes them ideal for tools with high power consumption rates.

The batteries in this kit have excellent recharge rates bosting a full charge in approximately 28 minutes when used on the DC40RA rapid charger.
