The Makita DLX3116TJ 18V Li-ion LXT Cordless Brushless Kit is comprised of the DRT50Z 18V Li-ion Brushless Router/Trimmer, the DHP485Z 18V Li-ion Brushless Combi Drill and the DKP180Z 18V Li-ion Planer 82mm. It also comes with 2 x BL1850B 5.0 A/h Batteries, a DC18RC Charger and comes contained in a practical Makpac 4 Carry Case for ease of transportation.

The Makita DRT50Z 18V Li-ion LXT Cordless Brushless Router/Trimmer has a brushless motor which is precision engineered to offer 50% more efficiency than its comparative model. This tool is powered by the Makita LXT 18V Li-ion battery range and has been developed from the Makita RT0700C model.

The powerful brushless motor produces a maximum 10,000 - 30,000 rpm no load speed with 6mm & 8mm (1/4") collet capacity for router cutters.

The Makita DRT50Z comes with the round trimmer base for smooth and fast cutting and an enlarged opening for excellent router or trimmer bit visibility.

Additional features include a smooth fine depth adjustment system for greater precision, a quick release cam lock system for convenient depth adjustments and base installation/removal, a soft start mechanism and variable speed control.

The DRT50Z can easily be connected to Makita vacuum cleaners using the dust nozzle to help maintain a dust-free work area whilst the twin LED job lights illuminate the workpiece, making it ideal for use in low-light conditions.

The Makita DHP485Z 18V Li-ion LXT Cordless Brushless Combi Drill can perform at high speed and torque levels to ensure powerful yet precise screw-driving in wood, steel and masonry materials and is equipped with a brushless motor for enhanced performance.

This compact and lightweight combi drill features a 2 speed mechanical gearbox which generates a maximum no load speed of 1,900 rmp and features 21 torque settings to suit the task at hand. It can deliver an impressive maximum torque of 50Nm, reaching a drilling capacity of 38mm in wood, and 13mm in both metal and masonry.

The DHP485Z is very easy to operate thanks to features such as the single sleeve keyless chuck, which enables the user to install and remove drill bits using one hand, the variable speed control trigger, forward/reverse rotation and the electric brake mechanism.

It has been designed with Makita’s innovative eXtreme Protection Technology (XPT) which ensures the tool is protected against dust, debris and liquids to help boost performance in extreme conditions and extend its working life.

This combi drill is comfortable to use thanks to its ergonomic, soft grip coating and its LED job light complete with pre-glow and afterglow functions makes it ideal for use in low-light conditions.

The Makita DKP180Z 18V Li-ion LXT Cordless Planer is equipped with an 82mm planning width and offers unrivalled levels of power and performance, delivering a maximum no load speed of 14,000 rpm to achieve super-fast stock removal.

The user can easily adjust the cutting depth in 0.1mm increments up to a maximum cutting depth of 2mm per pass and a maximum rebate depth of 9mm.

This tool has been designed with a precision engineered aluminium base to ensure accurate and smooth planing, whilst the shoe located on the underside of the machine protects the workpiece by preventing accidental laying down of the planer if the blade is still in motion.

The DKP180Z allows for left and right hand operation with buttons located on either side of the handle and for added convenience, the switch can be set to ‘lock-on’ mode if continuous operation is required.

Additional useful features include a dust extraction port to help maintain a tidy and dust-free working area and a soft-grip, ergonomic handle for comfortable handling.
