The Makita GA9090N Angle Grinder 230mm 110V is a lightweight and compact machine featuring a powerful 2,200W motor and an impressive no load speed of 6,600rpm.

This electric angle grinder has excellent maneuverability thanks to three possible lateral grip positions, left, right and top, allowing the side grip to be attached closer to the centre of the wheel rotation, thus reducing load on the user. 

In addition, it boasts reduced weight in the gear housing compared to other models, which further enhances convenience and ease of use.

With double insulation to protect against electric shock, the GA9090N also boasts reduced core abrasion, minimising dimensional changes of the housing in humid conditions.

It also features a switch cover and sponge has been added to improve leakage current resistance between switch terminals.

The stator core abrasion on the motor is reduced by adding a water absorption process to the nylon motor housing after molding, to reduce dimensional changes of the housing in humid working conditions.

This corded angle grinder fits 230mm diameter discs and is ideal for cutting and grinding metal & masonary, achieving a maximum cutting depth of 69mm. Its soft grip design and large trigger switch improves comfort and fits well in many hand sizes.

The Makita GA9090N Angle Grinder 230mm 110V also features lock on / lock off function and a 2m power cord for freedom of movement and easy operation.
