The Makita GA9020S Angle Grinder's soft start system ensures the motor will build up speed gradually regardless of how hard the trigger depression is. This reduces the torque kick back on start up, an additional safety precation from Makita.

The Makita GA9020S is powered through a fan cooled heavy duty 2000W motor with dust sealed bearings which extends the working life, plus has replaceable carbon brushes, lightweight gearbox housing and a 3 position side handle.

Suitable for the cutting, grinding, sanding & polishing of metal & stone work with a 230mm / 9" capacity of disc.
