Similar to the popular Makita DUC101Z but boasting a larger 150mm bar, the NEW Makita DUC150Z 18V Cordless Brushless Pruning Saw is a highly efficient, lightweight and compact chainsaw  for pruning bushes & sawing through branches on garden and orchard trees. Equipped with a direct drive brushless motor with an externally rotating rotor, this cordless pruning chainsaw ensures high operational efficiency. Body Only.

The brushless motor provides a maximum output power of 320W, making it a powerful and reliable cordless chainsaw for various pruning, cutting of branches, small logs & other tasks.

Its compact structure and ergonomic handle make it easy to manoeuvre this cordless chainsaw with one hand, whilst its improved protection against dust and moisture with XPT (Extreme Protection Technology), ensures that pruning saw remains long lasting and durable, even in harsh environments.

The DUC150Z from Makita features a new tool-less change and tension adjustment of the saw chain, making it easy to replace or adjust the chain without any additional tools. Automatic chain lubrication helps ensure smooth and precise cuts and the chain oil view window allows for quick and easy oil level checks.

The moveable guard covers the upper side of the guide bar and gradually opens wider as the pruning saw chain cuts deeper into the branch. In addition, the lock-off lever is accessible from both sides for added safety.

The rear hand guard and electric brake also provide additional safety measures, while soft grip ensures comfortable handling.

The Makita DUC150Z comes with a 150mm length bar and an 80TXL saw chain with 32 chain links, as well as a 55ml capacity oil tank to ensure that the saw is well-lubricated during prolonged use.

The Makita DUC150Z is from the huge Makita lithium ion LXT range of cordless power tools & can accept 18v LXT Li-Ion batteries.
