The Makita DRT52Z 18v Li-ion Cordless Brushless Router / Trimmer is a compact yet powerful machine with a 6mm (1/4") collet capacity that can reach an impressive no load spead of up to 30,000rpm.

Suitable for use on a wide range of applications including engraving and rounding off edges, this versatile machine has a depth capacity of up to 42mm and is ideal for trimming and milling a variety of laminated wood types as well as veneer wood.

Its brushless motor provides output efficiency similar or superior to that of Makita's corded models, and its cordless design powered by 18V LXT Li-ion batteries makes it super practical and easy to manoeuvre.

Designed with Makita's eXtreme Protection Technology (XPT), this router / trimmer features a series of integrated seals that will channel away dust and moisture, helping ensure durability and a longer tool life.

In addition, the DRT52Z also boasts overload and overheat protection, automatically stopping if the battery is operated in a manner that causes it to draw an abnormally high current or if the tool or battery are overheating.

Its transparent square plastic base allows for a clear view of the trimming edge for easy operation, while a soft start function minimises start-up shock. The integrated lock/unlock button maximises safety, with an LED indicator to show when the machine is unlocked.

Additional features include a smooth depth adjustment system with rack and pinion mechanism for greater precision, and rubberised soft grip for added comfort and control.

A more cost effective alternative to the DRT50Z model, the Makita DRT52Z 18v Li-ion Cordless Brushless Router / Trimmer still delivers excellent performance, efficiency and convenience.
