Makita DRT50Z 18v Li-ion Cordless Brushless Router / Trimmer has a brushless motor which is precision engineered to offer 50% more efficiency than its comparative model. Body Only.

This tool is powered by the Makita LXT 18v Li-ion battery range and has been developed from the Makita RT0700C model. 

Its powerful brushless motor produces a maximum 10,000 - 30,000 rpm no load speed with 6mm & 8mm (1/4") collet capacity for router cutters.

The Makita DRT50Z comes with the round trimmer base for smooth and fast cutting and an enlarged opening for excellent router or trimmer bit visibility.

Additional features include a smooth fine depth adjustment system for greater precision, a quick release cam lock system for convenient depth adjustments and base installation/removal, a soft start mechanism and variable speed control.

The DRT50Z can easily be connected to Makita vacuum cleaners using the dust nozzle to help maintain a dust-free work area whilst the twin LED job lights illuminate the workpiece, making it ideal for use in low-light conditions.

The Makita 195563-0 Router & Trimmer Plunge Base Set is an ideal accessory to be used with the Makita RT700 Electric router and the Makita DRT50 18v Li-ion Cordless routers.

It features a 3 stage cut depth adjustment and has a plunge capacity of 0mm to 35mm.

In addition to its 4-way adjustable head part with catches at 0°, 45°, 90° and 110°*, this plunge base set has exhaustive discharge protection bt way of a plastic dust / splinter guard, an easy to operate lock lever, and ergonomically contoured knob style handles for comfort, ease of use & stability.

The Makita 195563-0 Plunge Base Set includes a replaceable non-marking plastic base plate for the protection & smooth sliding on the worksurface, Spring Loaded Holders to allow for the fitting of an optional straight guide to either the front or rear (Fitted) + a plastic dust / splinter guard (Fitted).

Batteries, charger & carry case NOT included - Compatible with Makita BL1830B, BL1840B & BL1850B 18v Li-ion Batteries.
