Part of Makita's Outdoor Adventure range, the DHP482SFO kit includes a Makita DHP482Z 18V Li-Ion Cordless 2 Speed Combi Drill in a Limited Edition Olive Green colour, 1 x Makita BL1830B 18V 3.0Ah Li-ion Battery and 1 x Makita DC18SD 18V Li-ion Standard Battery Charger, all contained in a practical carry case.

The Makita DHP482Z 18V Li-ion Cordless Combi Drill replaced the DHP456Z and is a compact and precise cordless combi drill for the professional tradesman with 21 x torque settings + hammer action mode for masonry drilling.

The DHP482Z features an all-metal gear construction for extra high transmission durability, variable speed control by trigger and an electric brake, as well as forward / reverse rotation.

Other features include the twin LED job lights for working in poorly lit areas, and a keyless chuck for easy change of the drill or screwdriver bits.

The Makita BL1830B 18V 3.0Ah Li-ion Battery is lightweight and shock-absorbing + has integrated L.E.D. battery charge level indicator lights which allow the user to monitor the battery charge level.

Makita batteries have STAR Protection built in which is the communication technology between the tool and the battery to monitor the conditions and exchange data in real time to protect against overloading, over-discharging or over-heating.

The Makita Li-ion range delivers 430% more working capacity during its lifetime compared to Ni-Cad and is 40% Lighter than Ni-MH batteries. Li-ion batteries have minimal depletion of power during use or in storage over its lifetime.

The Makita DC18SD 14.4V-18V Li-ion Standard Battery Charger uses a CPU to communicate with the battery's built in memory chip during a charge cycle, analysing the data stored in the battery chip to decide on the best charging method at that time, helping extend battery life.

In addition, it includes built in sounds to alert charging status and completion. While the DC18SD standard charger achieves slower charge times than Makita's DC18RC rapid charger, it is equally effective.
