The Makita DHP453 18v Li-ion Cordless Combi Drill is a competitively priced, compact and lightweight entry level 18v cordless combi drill kit powered by the Makita 18v Li-ion LXT range of batteries.

This is a very versatile cordless combi drill with three modes of operation: drilling, hammer drilling and screwdriving. It has a two speed mechanical gear box controlled by a high / low speed change lever and can reach a no load speed of up to 1,300rpm and generate up to 19,500 bpm for light masonary drilling.

The DHP453 also boasts 16 x Torque settings for screw driving with a maximum torque of 42 Nm.

The Makita DHP453 features a single sleeve keyless drill chuck for easy drill or screwdriver bit installation & removal, this easy to use machine also includes a variable speed trigger, forward / reverse settings which can be controled with a conveniently located push button.

In addition it has an electronic brake control and all metal gears for added durability.

With a compact and lightweight design thanks to its relatively low weight of 1.7kg making the DHP453 ideal for prolonged or over head use.
