This brand new heat gun from Makita can reach an impressive temperature of up to 550°C and allows for stepless temperature adjustment from 150°C, making it easy to suit the heat level to the application.
In addition, it has a 2-stage airflow fan setting which is operated by a practical sliding switch, allowing the user to choose between 120L/min and 200L/min air volume output.
With tool-less nozzle change system, the DHG181Z features a quick release mechanism for super quick and easy nozzle replacement. The nozzle can be removed simply by turning the plastic ring, preventing the user from having to touch the hot metal nozzle.
This compact and lightweight heat gun also boasts a lock-on button, reducing hand fatigue when in use for longer periods of time, as well as a lock-off lever, to prevent it coming on when not in use.
Other features include an LED job light, anti-restart function, overload protection and a practical hanging hook.
Perect for paint stripping, repairing plastic insulation on wiring, shrinking plastic & many other tasks.
The DHG181Z has a continuous run time of up to 30 minutes in low mode (120L/min) and 21 minutes in high mode (200L/min) when paired with a fully charged BL1860B 6.0ah LXT battery.
It is compatible with current nozzles for AC machines and comes complete with a glass protection nozzle, wide slot nozzle, reflector nozzle and reduction nozzle.
