DuPont™ Tychem® 2000 C TCPOBASYL00 Overboots, model POBA, are knee length, slip retardant footwear designed for specialised chemical and biological hazard protection.

Tailored to complement Tychem® 2000 C apparel, these overboots aim to enhance safety for body parts that are particularly vulnerable to hazardous materials.

Made with Tychem C fabric and reinforced with Tyvek® and a polymeric barrier, the overboots offer robust protection against a wide array of inorganic chemicals and biological hazards, even under pressure. While their partially stitched, slip retardant sole is designed for splash proof capabilities, these overboots are not waterproof.

Ideal for industries requiring splash protection, including pulp and paper, food processing, chemical, and pharmaceutical manufacturing, these Tychem® 2000 C TCPOBASYL00 overboots come equipped with fixation ties for a secure fit and are available in a standard yellow finish.

Certified under Regulation (EU) 2016/425, DuPont Tychem 2000 C TCPOBASYL00 Overboots are categorised as partial body chemical protective clothing, Category III, Type PB [3-B]. They also meet the EN 14126 standard for barriers against infective agents and have an antistatic treatment applied to the inside, in compliance with EN 1149-1.
