The Wera 3888/4/1 K SB Rapidaptor Stainless Steel Universal Bit Holder 1/4" x 50mm is a practical single-hand function adapter for use with 1/4" hexagon head screwdriver bits.
Featuring Wera's Rapidaptor technology, which allows every function of the quick-release chuck such as inserting or releasing screwdriver bits to be carried out with one hand, this bit holder is faster and easier to use, as well as more ergonomic than any others on the market.
Screwdriver bits can be attached without moving the sleeve and will lock automatically as soon as they are applied to the screw. Easy removal is achieved with a simple push forward of the sleeve, which triggers the spring mechanism that lifts the bit off the magnet and unlocks the tool.
This function makes it super easy to remove even the smallest bits without the use of extra tools, while the free-turning sleeve makes it easier to apply the tool to the screw and prevents slipping.
Its stainless steel construction prevents corrosion and rust, ensuring that no extraneous rust particles - which can modify appearance or cause structural damage can adhere to the screws being used.
The Wera Rapidaptor quick-release chucks hold 1/4" DIN ISO 1173-C 6.3 and E 6.3 as well as Wera series 1 and 4 bits, and can also be used as a short extension for 1/4" applications (when used with the Wera Zyklop Ratchets, for example).
