All Makita products are thoroughly inspected before they leave the factory and can be guaranteed to be free of defects, in both workmanship and materials, for a period of one year beginning from the date of the product's original purchase.

Makita power tools can be extended to a 3 year warranty subject to online registration within 30 days of purchase. This applies to all tools excluding batteries, chargers, outdoor power equipment and air tools.

To register for your extended warranty with Makita Power Tools you must visit their website to sign up or to log in if you already have an account. You can do so by following the below link:

Makita provide an excellent service. Should the product develop any faults during the warranty period due to defective workmanship or materials, you can visit the Makita website and follow the instructions to complete the returns form.

Makita will then uplift the machine, repair, and return to you free of charge. They will provide tracking for both the uplift and the return, and will aim to have it repaired within 5 working days. Please visit the link below if you wish to apply for a repair.

This guarantee does not apply where:

• Repairs have been made or attempted by others
• Repairs are required because of normal wear and tear
• The tool has been abused, misused or improperly maintained
• Alterations have been made to the tool
• Non-genuine or recommended parts or accessories are fitted to the tool(s)
• All of our clothing range is excluded from the 3 year warranty
