The Makita LS0815FLN Slide Compound Mitre Saw 216mm 240V with laser guide an updated version of the LS0815FL, is designed for enhanced ease of use, aligning with current safety regulations by eliminating the previously mandatory lock against unintentional pressing. 

This updated Makita LS0815FLN model stands out with its rigid cast alloy base and twin parallel slides, providing superior blade precision at various angles, a notable improvement over the LS0815FL's vertically aligned slides. It includes twin material support bars, a left side sub fence, a fixed right side fence, and a mountable stock clamping post for versatile support.

Equipped with a 216mm wood blade, this slide compound mitre saw from Makita offers cutting depths of 65mm at 90 degrees and 50mm at 45 degrees, powered by a 1,400W direct drive motor for high performance and low maintenance.

A linear ball bearing system and a motor powered laser marker ensure enhanced accuracy, while the sliding sub fence supports materials at angles from 90 to 48 degrees for precision and stability.

The mitre saw's design features a soft start mechanism, reducing startup force, and an LED job light for clear visibility.
