Makita's twin 18v DRS780Z cordless brushless circular saw with 36v DC motor delivers more power and runtime without leaving the 18v Lithium-ion battery platform but with truly unbeatable power & performance.

The brushless motor improves overall runtime and performance with extended battery life & can deliver a no load speed of 5,100rpm making this an extremely powerful cordless circular saw with a back handle design + a power output simaler to that of a corded version of 1,700W for heavy duty cutting applications.

The DRS780Z boasts Automatic Torque Drive (ATD) function that automatically adjusts the cutting speed to match the load condition in real time to ensure cutting is carried out effectively for optimum performance and to minimise damage to the workpiece.

The Makita DRS780Z features an electronic brake, a soft start function that builds up speed slowly for controlled application, a solid magnesium base to help apply pressure during cuts and a retractable joist hook.

Comes fitted as standard with the Makita B-09416 TCT Specialized Tip Embedded Knot & Nail Cutting Blade 30T + also has a reversable flange to accept blades with a bore size of 15.88mm or 30mm.

The DRS780Z also has an ergonomic rear handle design to provide the user with maximum control and comfort during application.
