The Makita DMR106 features Bluetooth class 2 allowing you to wirelessly connect your Bluetooth enable media device within a range of 10 metres and turn your radio into a speaker for your own music.
The Makita DMR106 Job Site Radio features Bluetooth class 2 allowing you to wirelessly connect your Bluetooth enabled media device within a range of 10 metres and turn your radio into a speaker for your own music.
The job site radio also provides high quality sound production features and include many technical features usually only found in high performance domestic sound systems, with its 2 x 89mm stereo speakers.
As well as the Bluetooth option, there is an AUX-IN jack (1 x port on the front and 1 x port in the rear at the battery compartment), meaning you can play your music from any external audio source that features the jack via the cable (cable not included).
The DMR106 has dual power sources - AC (AC power adapter including) or any of the Makita Li-ion batteries (not included) as it is compatible with most (excluding 10.8V slide batteries, Ni-Cad and Ni-Mh), please see compatibility chart image.
The retractable antenna / aerial means that you can listen to the radio perfectly but it can be removed so as not to be damaged while the radio is in transit.
The USB port on the front of the radio means that you can actually charge your mobile device while playing music from it, this does however reduce how long the radio will last on a single charge of a battery (Please see our attached chart for more details on how long the radio will last with each battery)
It is protected against rough handling with the elastomer bumpers and steel facia protection bars to safeguard the radio as well as its falling impact strength to protect it from a fall of up to 1.0m.
The IP64 showerproof construction means it can take up to 5 minutes exposure to rain.
