The Makita DHR171Z 18V Li-ion Cordless Brushless SDS Plus Rotary Hammer Drill has a 2-mode operation: rotary only and rotary hammer drilling.
The DHR171Z has an efficient Makita Brushless Motor for up to 50% longer run time, increased power with a no load speed from 0 - 680 RPM & impacts per minute from 0 - 4,800 IPM with 1.2 Joules of impact energy for quick drilling.
The Makita DHR171Z is designed for ease of use with a one touch sliding chuck, variable speed control, electric brake, LED job light amongst it's features.
Compact yet powerful thanks to the 18v brushless motor with a drilling capacity in concrete of 17mm but with a lightweight design making this a comfortable SDS hammer drill to use for prolonged periods of time & is perfect for working in tight spaces and for overhead work.
The clutch on the Makita DH171Z disengages if your drill bit jams while drilling. Body Only.
