GVS NV3-715-50 Nova 3 Blast Respirator Helmet with Climate Control

Previously under the brand of RPB the GVS NV3-715-50 Nova 3 Blast Respirator Helmet with Climate Control Device is ideal for abrasive blasting like sand blasting, this assembly is designed to ensure safety and comfort during long use of blasting apparatus. 

This hard shell helmet design is manufactured from engineering grade nylon making it tough and durable which is ideal for the abrasive damage that it will accumulate while blasting.

The GVS NV3-715-50 Nova 3 Blast helmet is designed to keep the centre of gravity low by distributing its weight evenly across the head and shoulders. This design aims to eliminated neck strain and prevent the helmet from being top heavy.

All parts of the GVS NV3-715-50 Helmet are replaceable in the field requiring no tools except a small hex key, which for your convenience comes stored on the inside of the headtop, so no matter where you are you will always be able to install new parts on the apparatus.

The GVS NV3-715-50 Nova 3 Blast Respirator has padding on the inside that supports the helmet ensuring it fits securely on the head, the ratchet system guarantees a snug and comfortable fit.

The moulded side padding absorbs sound and comes with ear shaped indents to aid in noise suppression and ear comfort it is designed to protect against hearing loss and is NNR rated to 32 decibels. The padding system is fully removable and machine washable to make hygiene standards easy to maintain.

The air supply is directed from the top of the helmet down the front of the visor into the breath zone. This method of air flow prevents lens fog and head chill, this helping the user maintain optimal temperature and visibility.

The large visor provided a wide field of view with excellent peripheral vision allowing for greater precision while operating sand blasting equipment. The GVS NV3-715-50 Helmet boasts 30% more downward visibility than other brands which leading safer working conditions due to easier traversal of hazardous work sites.

Compatible with GVS tear-off lens technology the helmet is ideal for sand blasting as each damaged lens layer can be quickly removed revealing a fresh lens below, this headtop is able to have six tear-off lenses installed at once ensuring clear vision through the working day.

The cassette lens system makes the tear-off lenses even more effective by being pre stacked on a standard inner lens. This makes the cassette easy to install and immediately ready for work once it is in place.

A large robust latch that can be operated with ease while wearing gloves makes removal of the lenses simple and efficient.

This GVS NV3-715-50 kit comes with a GVS 03-502 C40 Climate Control Device.

The GVS 03-502 C40 Climate Control Device is designed to create a comfortable environment when wearing the respirator. The Climate Control Device can cool incoming air by up to 29c or heat by 18c allowing you to maintain optimal temperature no matter the surrounding conditions. The C40 has an easy to use dial for adjusting the airflow and a lever for temperature control.

The air inlet Swivels 360 degrees so the device maintains a comfortable position on your hip even during movement.
