The GVS Z-Link Welding ADF Rear Lens is to protect the Auto Darkening Weld Filter which reflects and absorbs 99.9% of Infrared radiation and 99.9997% of harmful UV radiation, effectively limiting the damage done to the eyes and skin during welding work.
