The Evolution R255SMS + Pro Sliding Mitre Saw 240V uses patented Evolution RAGE® multi-material cutting technology and is able to cut mild steel, non-ferrous metals, wood, wood with embedded nails, and plastic all with a single blade.

Trade rated and approved the R255SMS+ Pro is the ultimate tool on the job site. Accuracy, power and reliability at the forefront of its design, this 255mm sliding mitre saw is equipped to power through 6mm thick mild steel, and cut hardwood, laminate and even nail embedded wood with precision.

This R255SMS+ Pro has an optimised gearbox with a 2,000 W Hi-Torque motor combination that gives you more torque and the perfect speed for cutting a variety of materials with the same blade.

The Evolution saws’ lower RPM develops extra torque needed to cut steel and other materials safely and cleanly without burrs, heat, and virtually no sparks.

The R255SMS+ Pro offers clean and consistently smooth cuts to within +/- 0.5°, making it perfect for a wide range of applications.

Its wide base and rubber feet reduce vibration and increase precision. This powerful machine also combats repetitive strain thanks to its ambidextrous, ergonomic, horizontal trigger with a comfortable grip.

This version of the Evolution R255SMS is the R255SMS + Pro version which has several additional features when compared to the standard R255SMS, as follows -
