The Evolution R255SMS-DB+ 255mm Double Bevel Sliding Mitre Saw 240V comes complete with an Evolution multi material saw blade with 24 Tungsten-Carbide-Tipped teeth that will easily cut wood, nail-embedded wood, steel, aluminium and plastic, providing incredible versatility.

In addition, the saw is also supplied with a 40T general wood blade that can be used especially for crosscut and ripping applications.

Trade rated and approved the R255SMS-DB+ is the ultimate tool on the job site. Precision, power and reliability at the forefront of its design, this 255mm sliding mitre saw has a huge 300mm x 90mm crosscut capability which means it can slice through a nominally sized planks in one pass.

Not only that, it can power through 6mm thick mild steel with no heat, no burrs & virtually no sparks, and cut hardwood, laminate and even nail embedded wood with accuracy, thanks to laser precision guidance.

The R255SMS-DB+ has an optimised gearbox with a 2,000 W Hi-Torque motor combination that gives you more torque and the perfect speed for cutting a variety of materials with the same blade.

This double bevel machine boasts 45° - 45° bevel tilt and 50˚ - 50˚ mitre angles with quick click mitre stops at 0˚, 15˚, 22.5˚, 30˚, and 45˚ both left & right. It ensures clean and consistently smooth cuts to within +/- 0.5°, making it perfect for a wide range of applications.

Its wide base and rubber feet reduce vibration and increase precision. This powerful machine also combats repetitive strain thanks to its ambidextrous, ergonomic, horizontal trigger with a comfortable grip.

This is the Evolution R255SMS-DB+  (Plus) version which has several additional features when compared to the standard R255SMS-DB, as follows –
