The 3M 428000 is a polycarbonate protection plate designed to protect the inside surface of the filter on Speedglas 100 Welding Shields from spark and spatter.
It is recommended to replace the plate at the point where it becomes deeply pitted, scratched or too dirty to clean with a soft cloth or lens paper.
To prolong the life of the plate regularly clean and buff with a soft cloth.
These inner cover plates are supplied in a packet of 5 replacement plates.
